About Doggy Bites

My name is Jenny and I founded Doggy Bites to raise money for animal shelters in Austin, Texas.

I grew up in a house with 8 rescue dogs, most of which I brought home after finding them roaming in parking lots or on the sides of busy roads. Caring for animals has always been a driving principle for me and my family. So when I moved to Austin in 2017, I wanted to find a way to help needy animals in my new home.

Born out of a love for animals, baking, and creating meaningful gatherings for friends and family, Doggy Bites hosts classes where you can learn how to make your own healthy and inexpensive dog treats for your best friend.

Each class is 2 hours and you will learn how to make 2-3 different kinds of treats while sipping on a complimentary cocktail and making friends with other dog parents in your community.

Most importantly, a portion of our proceeds go directly to Austin Pets Alive! Now that’s something that gets our tails wagging.
